New TV Forums Launched
With the amazing response and number of visitors on this site, we figured that there is an interest for an interesting, friendly online community of TV addicts. We looked around and could not find much out there that we felt worked in the style we’d like for a community that we could organize. So…

Is Chrysler’s Ad Obama Propaganda?
Chrysler’s Super Bowl ad starring Clint Eastwood has somehow become a lightning-rod for conservatives, who claim it was actually payback to the Obama administration for the Detroit bailout package. Now key members of the ad’s creative team have been found to not only support Obama, but have created Obama art and campaign materials.

The Lorax – 2012 – Movie Trailer
Illumination Entertainment (Despicable Me) brings us what looks like a fairly loose interpretation of Dr. Seuss’ iconic environmentalism fable. It looks like this Lorax is a bit rough around the edges, but I guess if they wanted our opinion they would have asked. Danny DeVito voices the Lorax, and he sounds like a blast.

GE – 2012 – Building Something Big In Louisville
Here’s another late-entry for us, from General Electric. This is along the lines of the Chrysler ads from the past two games, talking about American jobs and taking pride in your work. We don’t know if this will get anyone to buy a new fridge, but it’s a moving spot.

Battleship – 2012 – Movie Trailer
We’re not sure how we missed this one. Yes, that Battleship is being made into a movie, and will be released on May 18. Directed by Peter Berg of Hancock fame (as well as directing the Super Bowl spot for The Voice), it promises to be… loud, we guess?

Ford and Chevy’s parent General Motors got in a bit of a tiff over the apocalyptic ”2012″ ad featured in yesterday’s game, as we and anyone with half a brain knew they would. They sent a letter to GM, requesting the ad be pulled, which of course was declined since we all watched and enjoyed it.

You’ve seen the game, you’ve read our top ten list (right?), so now we bring you the worst of the worst. If you watched the game then there are no big surprises here, except maybe that GoDaddy didn’t walk away with two of the bottom-five slots (that just didn’t seem fair).
