Game on, people! Game… on! We officially have something to watch when we’re not watching the new Wonderful Pistachios or Volkswagen Commercial!
The results are in, and the match is set: Super Bowl XLVII will take place between the San Francisco 49ers, who topped the Atlanta Falcons 28 to 24, and the Baltimore Ravens, who shut down the New England Patriots in the second half of the fame, scoring 21 unanswered points to win 28 to 13. The NFC game stayed nice and close; the AFC contest was more of a slapping around. So it goes.
To anyone paying a bit of attention to the NFL this year, you may already know this, but there is a pretty remarkable fact about this year’s game: the head coaches of the 49ers and the Ravens are Jim Harbaugh and John Harbaugh, respectively. That shared last name is not a coincidence, these guys are brothers. For the first time ever, the Super Bowl will be a contest between two teams led by guys who used to fight over the remote control. Craziness!
And now it goes to the big game on February 3rd. Who will be the ultimate victor of the 2012 NFL season? Who knows, you gotta wait two weeks—enough of this sports talk! There are commercials to discuss!
