The use of chimpanzees for this type of commercial is short-sighted and exploitative. These chimps may make tons of money for Castrol when the chimps are juveniles, but soon they will be too strong to work in show business. Then who will provide care for these monkeys when they live to be 40 plus years? Their quality of life is destined to be a small cage with little or no companionship. Chimpanzees share nearly 99% of their DNA with us. We have the power to use other technologies for these images and to take better care of our primate cousins.
Go eat a banana and lighten up. How do you even know technology wasn’t used to make this commercial and how do you know they are juvenile monkeys and how do you know they aren’t privately owned and already have a good quality life? You don’t know. You would rather go apesh*t on assumptions.
Get over it …
