A quick update so that everyone of you knows how its going to work here.
We expect to be online during the game (keep in mind that this site is run from Hong Kong) and posting commercials as and when we get access to them through YouTube and other media.
As the commercials go online you can rate the commercials with four criteria – humor, sex, violence and overall quality. 10 points each for HSV and 70 points for best overall commercial. So technically the funniest, sexiest and most violent commercial could get out voted by one that gets full marks for the best over all quality.
Have a safe superbowl folks. Don’t drink and vote and don’t even think of drinking and driving!

my fovorite was the dove commercial for lotion or something but it was this guys whole life really fast and ends with him accepting himself and now realizing that he should be nice to his skin or some shit. the life -however, sequence video was amazing

Tim Tebow’s commercial was the BEST!!! The dumpest & crudest commercial was the one with the people in their underwear. It’s hard to believe that Tim Tebow’s commercial had caused such controversary but an overweight woman running in her underwear and WAY TOO MANY beer commercials are okay to show while so many families are watching this game. America better wake up!

The funniest one was the Doritos commercial with the dog and the shock collar. That was HILARIOUS! As for the Tim Tebow commercial, I don’t know what all the fuss was about. It was very low-key, but all the ‘pro-choice’ people I guess had to pre-judge it. The worst commercials, I think, are the go-daddy commercials. I think they are in very poor taste and unfunny. But both of the ‘no-pants’ commercials I thought were also funny; the ‘casual day’ one was hilarious too.

I watched for the football which was outstanding, the commercials however, were not. The ONLY commercial that I felt was even in the realm of esteem we’ve come to expect from Super Bowl commercials was the Budweiser Clydesdale and bull! That one really seemed to express what we expect from these commercials. I know the economy is hurting everyone, but if a company is going to buy the space, then they should produce the absolute best material possible. I was extremely underwhelmed tonight! What a disappointment in general!! The only exception to the pathetic showing of usually exciting interruptions in the Super Bowl this year was as I stated earlier, the Budweiser Clydesdale and Bull. I am shocked at the lack of creativity in this new decade! Oh, actually, the commercial with Brett Favre was really good too. I just remembered that one. I thought that was funny with his remark of “retiring…maybe”. That was funny. So other than Budweiser’s Clydesdale and Brett Favre’s play on his decision to not retire, the commercials were a HORRIBLE MESS!!!! What happened to all of you writers and those of you who signed off on those ridiculous and unsubstantial million dollar spots?!?!?! What a shame!!!!!

There weren’t a lot of truly funny, classic ads. Some were downright awful. (hate GoDaddy, the no pants one was hard to watch). Leno and Letterman would have been much funnier with better dialogue. What happened to FedEx? I miss Pepsi too. Coke was boring this year.

I guess I’m revealing my age, but I thought the best one was the remake of “Nothing But Net”. It was a hoot to see Larry Byrd at the end walk off with the McDonald’s bag. I guess you had to know the original with Byrd and Jordan to appreciate it.

I really liked the Doritos comercial when the dog put the colar on the man in the park. Then the dog ran off with the doritos. It was played in the beginning of the game. I hope I see it again one day. There were a couple other good comercials but, the rest, not impressed.

This years commercials were hilarious!! The Doritos commercials were great….the shock collar and the little boy slapping his moms date especially……the Budweiser Clydesdale commercial with the colt and calf is a favorite….Puxatawney Plalmalu cracked everyone up at the party……VW punching was a hoot……..Green Police…… the ETrade babies alwasy crack me up……. Casual Fridays, McDonalds w/ Larry Byrd……….. even Betty White got alot of laughs!!

As a single black parent, I feel that your Doritos commercial during superbowl was VERY STEREOTYPICAL and degrading. I am a dedicated customer of Doritos and Frito’s brand; however, I will not continue to be a loyal customer with disgraceful, tasteless, and disrespectful advertisements like that. On a scale of 1-10 (ten being the best) I would rate the Audi commercial about a minus 49. That commercial was a bit too much and totally creeped me out. If I ever had plans to buy an Audi before, I certainly don’t now. YUK!!!

I thought Betty White’s Snicker ad was awful and filled with agesim visuals. Having two 80+ knocked to the muddy ground was a ridiculous way to connect football and snickers giving you energy to battle those got the best of you and your team. These two fine seniors and a great product like snickers (which I eat at least once a week) could have been used in a much more positive ad. Shame on you !
I encourage you to try again next year using the same two seniors in a better light. It saddens me that our country thought this was one of the best ads of the super bowl. They too will be old someday. It happens to all of us.

Great Game horrible commericals! Chevy Chase was cool. The little boy protecting Mom was OK. The spinless man begging for a car was sad and pathetic. Audi went way out on a limb and it went over the head of most folks. The Tebow hype was much better than reality. I can just imagine what the rest of the world must think about our mentality.

I, like many others, look forward to seeing and laughing at Superbowl commercials year after year. This is the first year an ad disturbed me so much that I wanted to write a comment. I find it abhorrent that one of the most popular Superbowl commercials shows a child of impressionable age talking back to and slapping an elder. Would you let your child do that to you? If you would, you never should have, or have had children because obviously you’re an unfit parent.
