But I can see it as being offensive. As an African American, the commercial is very ethnic and that type of situation does occur with the mother being disrespected and her child's food being eaten. Just because the President is black doesn't mean that race relations in America are much different than they were years ago; or are you blind to that fact too?? I'll stop looking at color when Hollywood, the Media, and everyone else in America does. The WHO didn't put on a great show. They're old now, and live shows rarely live up to their groomed digital counterparts. It's to be expected. They had/have talent, but that doesn't mean their performances from a decade ago will carry into the present. This commercial is cute. If no child from any race would be likely to do this, I don't see what the big deal is about selecting a black child. The only power the issue of race has anymore is the power you give it; so stop looking at the color of someone's skin, if you think it's such a problem!
