Dodge Charger – Man’s Last Stand – Super Bowl 2010

Best part of that commercial, aside for the funny? The VO is done by Mr. Dexter himself — which explains why it’s good in the first place. Cute commercial, but a little sad, isn’t it? Besides, we’re not owned by women so we could drive our Dodge Charger, we do what they want because they have vaginas.

Duh.

and in HD…

A MANs car???? oh come on……. I’m a woman who loves the power cars, and I had a Charger 440 magnum and absolutely loved it….. wish I could afford one now too. But a MANs car???? Dodge, you can do better than that !!!!!

@AJ I really hope You’re not for Real. Yes this is what Real Men think! Wait, let me backtrack.. It seems like you’re not quite getting the message of this commercial. These are things that MOST men do NOT want to do because it makes them seem like they’re not real men. But it takes a real man to swallow his pride and actually eat fruits, and recycle, and even put his underwear in the basket! so in essence the commercial is saying that men don’t want to do these things. None the less it takes a real man to do them! Therefore he is rewarded with a badass car. It’s ThaT simple. Here’s a more “simpler” understanding if the point still hasn’t hit home. Think: New Year resolutions. Better? makes more sense now? Great pat yourself on the back.

.oO(I will stop picking fights with shallow minded posters)

what would make this funny? If one of the guys was that “what if mother doesn’t let me drive” dude from the Progressive Insurance commercial…

I own a Charger SRT8 and as the commercial started, my wife started cracking up “that’s so you”….I had the last smile at the end! :-) You may take and own my heart, it is my love for you. I’m keeping my balls!

NO WONDER THEY FILED FOR BANKRUPTCY. Crap like this is NOT going to get them back. Go ahead – shoot half your potential buyers in the head and then accuse the other half of being houseslaves except for that one little car in the garage. That’s the way to build market share!

I will watch your vampire TV series with you…….

Dodge get over yourself ! This so chauvinistic it’s sickening. Women drive dodges too. A number of my women friends and I drive dodge trucks. We pull horse trailers loaded with horses or cows with them. Chauvinism is not cute. Oh, and by the way, my dodge is a piece of shit and a new truck or car will NOT be a dodge. Disgusting and offensive ad.

Ha I like that last post. Looks like the F-series pick up is the only masculine truck on the road. But my daughter loves to drive it. She’s 16!!!
Dodges have sucked for the last 20 and Toyota is eating my dust lately.
I drink beer, shoot guns pastor a church and pick up my underwear!
    Sincerely Fred

WOW I bet the GUY who wrote that commercial felt a lot better after he let that out

I am female, I consider myself a feminist. This commerical made me laugh out loud. It was my favorite from the superbowl. Mostly because the line “I will watch your vampire TV shows with you” is so funny. I read the comments on here and I am just amazed that other women are so high strung and nit picky that they get their panties in a wad over this. Get a sense of humor, get over yourself. Some things really are chauvinistic and offensive and demeaning to women. Save your moral outrage for when it’s deserved. You lessen your cause when you make yourself totally inflexible and ridgid and can’t see the humor in something this innocous and silly.

this was just a funny commercial. not many people seem to have a since of humor anymore. lol, i like the commercial, just not a full dodge fan, but the car is nice, esp the deep tone of the engine.
