Google – Parisian Love

You gotta hand it to Google — that commercial probably took all of an hour to put together and cost someone a few bucks to edit but it’s already better than half of the other things playing at the Super Bowl. Simple, poetic, to the point and memorable. There’s a reason everybody loves Google — and that’s because the guys behind everything Google are damn near geniuses.

…and in googlelastic HD…

This was haunting. It really shows not only how powerful Google can be, but also how powerful and influential the internet has become. Many people turn to the internet (mainly search engines such as Google) for advice.
Seriously being a IT guy this sent shivers down my spine.

My absolute favorite ad of the night! Like Seth, this commercial also made me think about just how much we as a society use the internet and search engines like Google for so many everyday things. Great job, Google!

The Internet isn’t just about searches and easy access to avalanches of data. It’s about the human species and it’s continual drive to nexus. Google is nitting the terrene together for all to enjoy. The planet is becoming a very small place indeed.

Google has always understood the potential of the Internet and the “do no evil” mindset. In contrast to Microsoft hard business model Google shines so brilliantly from just trying to build something great, not on how much wealth it can hoard.

Great commercial. It’s insteresting that subtle backgound music and some simple type flashing by on an all but white Google search page could say so much.

As an I.T. admin of 20 years I too, loved it.

I loved it too but the comment: “probably took all of an hour to put together and cost someone a few bucks to edit ” is absurd. It may look simple but there’s waaay more behind something like this than you realize.
