You know what? We loved that commercial. Well shot, adorable, fast and memorable. It’s everything a commercial should be — it never bores, it never makes you roll your eyes and it doesn’t feel like the same ol’ thing we see every day. We’re fans. Plus, you can never go wrong with Tracy Morgan — especially if you pair him with a smug Stevie Wonder. That’s just a recipe for success.

    I actually had to EXPLAIN this one to one of the people I was watching the SB with. “Why are they all whacking each other? That’s terrible!”
    “Uh…it’s a game that goes back to the 60s called Punch Buggy…see a VW, originally a VW Bug, whack the person next to you.”
    (another watcher jumps into the conversation) “No, the game’s called Slug Bug!”
    “Wha..wha…”
    And around we go…

    You should have seen her reaction to the GoDaddy commercials…

    Hahaha.. My daughter loves that punch buggy stuff. GOOD COMMERCIAL AND FUNNY WITH TRACY MORGAN AND STEVIE. I KNEW HE COULD SEE HAHAHA…

    The bug punch was stupid in the 60’s and has not improved since then. Volkswagen has gone from the top of my future purchase list to near the bottom.

    I Hate these commercials. I turn the channel when they come on! It’s an insult to the slug bug game!

    IT’S CALLED SLUG BUG! pertaining to the VW Beetle. Not just any Volkswagon. Leave it to the marketing department to muck things up!
