Budweiser – Select 55 – Super Bowl 2010

February 8, 2010

That’s… it? Really? Nevermind the fact that very few men will actually drink a beer that proudly displays how few calories it has — but, couldn’t you have thought of something a little more clever than that, Budweiser? That wasn’t even an idea, that was sliding a piece of ice along your bottle of beer and having a VO advertise the product. That may work in your normal every day commercialing but not in the Superbowl!

You’ve failed us, Budweiser.

…and watch it with even less calories in HD…

I was very disappointed that Budweiser did not have a Clysdale commercial this year, so many people look forward to them, why the missing ad?

What’s a Super Bowl without Clydesdales? Budweiser, you’ve gone a bit light int he head…

I loved the clydedale and long horn. It is a good ad that just made you fell good.

Don’t forget, it’s not AB anymore. I guess InBev doesn’t yet understand the SuperBowl and the need for good commercials.

Looks like InBev has got this commercial yanked from online sources. Guess they don’t need people talking about how bad this commercial is.

Post a link here if you find a copy online.

Inbev’s leader is very cheap and it shows through this year’s super bowl commerical. When they bought Interbrew/Labatt’s they stripped out all non-essentials. I suspect the same has happened to AB.

Guess since Budweiser is no longer an American company we don’t get good commercials anymore.
