OK, what the hell is going on here? When did 85% of all Super Bowl commercials start to feature screaming goats!? (Ha – we’re just kidding of course: actually only 72% of Super Bowl ads feature shrieking goats and/or sheep.)
Sprint is but the latest brand to run a Super Bowl commercial relying on screaming goat humor, and this time it is at the expensive of their competitors in the telecom field, namely Verizon and AT&T.
We’ll say this for Sprint, though: their Super Bowl commercial makes its point (we’ll lower your bills, that’s the point) and on the cheap, too: this must not have been a very expensive commercial to produce. All they needed was a goat, a donkey, and some text.
Oh, and millions of dollars for the airtime on NBC.
