Thank you, Airbnb, for releasing the Super Bowl commercial we all need in early 2017.

This is a divisive time here in America and abroad, and it’s comforting to see a brand that says to all the tens of millions of people watching that they will be accepted as they are.

The Airbnb Super Bowl commercial is such a success largely because it is so pleasantly simple.

It just a bunch of different people looking at the camera. Different, but all people. And all welcome to rest wherever they find an Airbnb. That’s all the message we need right now. That we should all accept.
